Orthodox Jews Defiantly Reopen Playgrounds

At last, many businesses and facilities have started slowly opening to some degree: dine-in restaurants, basketball and tennis courts, swimming pools, but playgrounds still have yet to be officially reopened in our area. I won’t try to make sense of it. Almost nothing related to COVID makes sense. Several weeks ago we highlighted that people were unlocking playgrounds around Ramona.

People are starting to see and take positive action. It looks like many Orthodox Jews in New York City understand that they must free themselves. They’re even bold enough to record it and upload it for the world to see. I wonder when our Christian churches take a serious stand against the anti-freedom movements that are upon us.

You can be sure that the lockdown orders will never fully be lifted before they start clamping down again. Of course, many will blame it on those ignoring onerous mask-wearing dictates. Their view is rooted in the misconception that we can hide from the virus and that if we can just lockdown fully for a period of time, the virus will just disappear. Well, the horse has already left the barn.

Originally, we were told to flatten the curve, and stay home for two weeks. All that happened was that doctors and nurses were furloughed. God gave us our immune system for a reason. There has never been a precendent to quarantine the healthy and we shouldn’t start the trend. RESIST! The WHO even admits asymptomatic spread is ‘very rare’.
